Ms. Earth in PWU

I was totally stars trucked when I saw the beautiful faces of the Ms Earth 2011 candidates. They are really tall and so totally hot! I was surprise when I heard the news that they will be coming in the university. I think it is one of their activity as candidates to do a “tree planting” in some places, and the school was luckily chosen. Children went crazy and got excited to take some pictures with them. I could see children having their pen and paper for the autograph signing. Because of their Earth beauty, flashes scattered in the air!

As for me, I was able to take some pictures of some of the candidates like Ms Ukraine, Ms Bahamas, Ms Germany and I forgot the others. They are very cooperative and friendly despite of the hot weather. I was happy because I was able to shake hands with Ms Ukraine, I told her that “You are totally pretty!” and she said ‘’Thank you” and I don’t know, I was flattered.

I want to be a Journalist.

I want to travel the world. I wanted to explore and discover new things.

I want to be a model Photographer.

I want to learn to cook. Because it’s one of my weaknesses, and my dream is to overcome at least one of it.

I want to become a VJ.

I want to continue my passion in Music. I want to entertain people through it.

I want to raise my own Family.

I want to have a happy and blessed life!

Halloween

Halloween is a holiday that's celebrated annually on the night of October 31. It was originated in Ireland, and is celebrated in quite a few countries including Ireland itself, the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Japan, New Zealand, Australia, Sweden, including Philippines and some other countries.

"Trick or treat" is usually the way of celebrating Halloween in most of the countries. Philippines is also celebrating Halloween by trick or tricking, ghosts tours, costume parties, haunted house tours, and some places are decorated with creepy stuffs around. Some schools celebrates Halloween too. During this season, horror films are being shown to keep up with the Halloween spirit, and many would dare to watch these films just for the thrill of it. A lot of ways are being done during Halloween. Many countries has its unique way of celebrating it. All that matters is that we felt the spirit of Halloween.

That motivates me to be determined in all the things I want to achieve. I'm a type of girl, who lacks self confidence. If I want something, I can't go for it. All the negative thoughts runs through my head, and if that happens, it stops me in pursuing it.

It relates to every people who have been successful in life. They go for what they want to achieve.
In my life, I wanted to do a lot of things that serves as my achievements, my problem is, if  I couldn't go for one thing what I really want, then all other things I wanted to be or to achieve, won't definitely be fulfilled. That is why I'm being inspired by people who had been successful and never had a second thought to go for what they want. Confidence, with determination, hard work and perseverance would result to success.

SONA

Actually, I did not much understand the speech of Noynoy Aquino, though it’s been done in Filipino, I still don’t get what he was saying. But there are some things that he mentioned that I was aware of, when he said, “Walang wang wang sa ating administrasyon” maybe he’s right. He was the one who created that law. Now it’s in effect, a change in the society. I know that he has done some changes in this country, and I could probably say that Nonoy is better than our previous president. 

With his speech, many politicians were happy; they clap, clap and clap. That’s what I noticed. The dresses of the people there were just same, guys are in their formal attire, or tuxedo, whatever you call that thing. Girls were in their filipiñana suite, probably the modern one. The place was strictly secured by many guards, police or maybe armed people. And reporters, they scattered all over! 

I could not tell much of his speech, but he was good, epcecially when he did his Sona in Filipino. Many were impressed. But there are some still who would dare to criticize. A lot. Nonoy can’t avoid that.

To end this blog, all I could say, WE SHOULD NOT RELY MORE IN OUR GOVERNMENT. LET’S DO WHAT WE CAN DO. WE ARE FILIPINOS AND WE ARE PART OF THIS.

FILIPINO VALUES

I love being Pinoy.
WHY? Its just simply because we have gained a lot of values that we should be proud of.

Filipinos are well known in the word:

HOSPITABLE. showing hospitality to others especially to the visitors, has been one of the old tradition and it still being part of us till now.

POLITENESS. Since we were young, our parents taught us to be polite, and respectful. We use the word "po" and "opo" as a respond to an older person.

HARD WORKER. Admit it, when we want something, we work hard for it. But when it comes in work and job, we Filipinos are hard worker, whether it is a physical labor tasks or highly professional job. "Patience" is one of the best word too.

HELPFUL. We care a lot, especially to our fellowmen. Even though we do not know that someone, or somebody, but if he/she needs help, the initiative of helping is one of our best value.

Lastly,

FAITH. Filipinos are one of the world's faithful man. Even though our country has  really a lot of crime problem, political issues, war and Philippines are not that a progressed country, our faith with God is strong. Many Filipino missionaries have gone spreading the word of God all over the world. Maybe because it is destined to Filipinos to spread our faith to them.That's why until now, many Filipinos have become successful in life, and that's because of our faith with God.Our faith has a big influence in other country.

Regrets.

As what the Wikipedia said , regret is a negative conscious and emotional reaction to personal past acts and behaviors. Regret is often expressed by the term "sorry." 

Regret is often felt when someone feels sadness,shame, embarrassment, depression, annoyance or guilt after committing an action or actions that the person later wishes that s/he had not done or having not committed an action or actions that the person later wishes that s/he had done. 

Regret is distinct from guilt, which is a deeply emotional form of regret — one which may be difficult to comprehend in an objective or conceptual way. In this regard, the concept of regret is subordinate to guilt in terms of its emotional intensity. 

"PET PEEVES" - YOU CAN'T DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT. CAUSE I HATE IT.

I ALSO LIVE IN THIS WORLD,  HATING SOME THINGS. WE DO, ACTUALLY. THINGS THAT HAS A REASONS OR "UNREASONABLE" REASONS WHY WE HATE IT. WE JUST HATE IT! BUT HONESTLY, I APPRECIATE THINGS A LOT,


MATH... WHY DO I HATE YOU?

Well, I hate Math. My brain bleeds up battling with Math problems! It is one of my weaknesses in academic area (probably). Before, I use to love math, but when I grew older and math grew harder too! Whattt?!!! My brain is just allergic to numbers, signs, formulas and stuffs!!! I wish I were a genius.

Every time I eat this thing, I felt like vomiting. It just doesn’t catch my taste. 

YOU GOT A PROBLEM ON ME? FACE ME.

Hearing my name saying negative things on someone else’s mouth, I HATE IT. I’m a friendly gal, if you have problems regarding my behaviour, or attitudes never had a second thought to face me, I would appreciate that.

I don’t hate things much, it depends on the situation. I appreciate things a lot. Thank you for having the effort to read !

JESUS CHRIST... THE GREATEST HERO IN THE WORLD!

I DEFINE "HERO" AS "SACRIFICE". IF YOUR A HERO, YOU SAVE THE WORLD.

HOW MUCH SACRIFICE ARE YOU WILLING TO GIVE? 
THE GREATEST HERO HAS THE GREATEST SACRIFICE. FOR ME, MY HERO IS NO OTHER THAN, OUR LORD, JESUS CHRIST, WHO HIMSELF, SACRIFICE HIS LIFE FOR US, SINNERS.

HEROES LIKE SUPERMAN, SPIDER MAN, BATMAN AND MORE! THEY JUST DEFINE HERO AS BEING BRAVE, STRONG AND POWERFUL, BUT THEY NEVER DID A SACRIFICE.


JESUS CHRIST SERVES AS MY LEADER IN LIFE, HIS LIFE SETS AS AN EXAMPLE TO EVERY CHRISTIAN. WHENEVER I LOOK BACK ON HOW JESUS CHRIST SUFFERED I FELT PITY ON HIM, REALIZING HOW I SINNED AGAINST HIM. 

THE WAY PEOPLE JUDGED HIM, DISRESPECT AND MOST OF ALL THE WAY THEY TORTURED HIM :((((( CAN YOU TAKE SEEING HIM SLOWLY DYING JUST LIKE THAT? I CAAANNNT ! :(((( 

HAVE YOU FELT HOW MUCH HURT HE DEEPLY FEELS INSIDE? DO YOU REALIZE HOW MUCH SINNER YOU ARE ? 

BUT JESUS CHRIST DID ALL THINGS FOR US. THE GREATEST SACRIFICE HE'D EVER DONE, AND THE GREATEST GIFT WE EVER HAD, HIS LOVE. :)) WELL, THAT'S A HERO.  


IN ALL THINGS I HAVE IN MY LIFE, I ALWAYS REMEMBER HIS NAME. HE MADE ME REALIZE THAT BEING A HERO IS GREAT, ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU ARE "WILLING" TO SACRIFICE EVERYTHING. YET IN OUR LIVES, SACRIFICING IS A VERY DIFFICULT THING. HOPE WE REALIZED THAT ! :)

FRIENDSHIP

We gain lots of friend because of this.  Friendship is a form of interpersonal relationship between two or more persons which are closer to each other; they share things to one another and also shares time. For me, a great friendship contains good and honest friend.

 In friendship, we learn a lot of things, good things, silly things, even bad things. By means of our friends, we could be able to know ourselves more, things that we didn’t realized before.

Here, we empathized and sympathized to one another, we put trust when time needs it, especially when we’re down. It motivates us to be confident and have a positive feeling. When we have family problems, we seek comfort to our friend and cry with them.

But in friendship, especially between a boy and girl, sometimes it ends in love. Many people have this kind of stories already. We sometimes get in love by our best friend that leads to love relationship.

But then, I really value the  word, FRIENDSHIP. Because it adds meaning to my life, it completes my whole being; I explore new things in me from them. That’s why for me, they are important, I love my friends especially my BEST FRIENDS! JJ

HELLO WORLD! I WAS NAMED LYCRA G. BUNUAN WHEN I FIRST WENT OUT ON MY MOTHERS WOMB, DURING THE FIRST DAY OF JULY, YEAR 1994.  TODAY, I AM 16 YEARS OF AGE, AND TAKING UP AB COMMUNICATION ARTS AT THE PHILIPPINE WOMEN'S UNIVERSITY AS A FRESHMEN COLLEGE.  I LIVE IN PASIG, QUITE FAR FROM THE UNIVERSITY. I GREW UP WITH A COMPLETE FAMILY; I HAD MY MOM, AND MY DAD, AND I AM THE ELDEST WITH MY FOUR SIBLINGS. WE’RE ACTUALLY A BIG FAMILY.

WHO AM I?

I COULD SAY THAT IM A FRIENDLY GIRL, JOLLY AND TRUE PERSON. MY FRIENDS KNOWN ME AS TALKATIVE, NAUGHTY, AND SILLY! AND I THINK IT’S TRUE. I AND MY FRIENDS HAS A REALLY GOOD RELATIONSHIP TO EACH OTHER. ONE THING THAT I VALUE IS THE WORD “FRIENDSHIP” BECAUSE FOR ME, IT ADDS MEANING TO MY LIFE. IT CONTRIBUTES A LOT OF THINGS. SOMETIMES, IT FILLS OUT YOUR WHOLE BEING.  I GREW UP LOVING MUSIC AND ARTS. I SING, BUT NOT THAT GOOD, I PLAY GUITAR, BUT AGAIN IM NOT AN EXPERT! IVE BEEN PERFORMING ON THEATRE FOR 3 YEARS. MUSIC IS MY PASSION, BUT FEAR ALWAYS STOPS MY CONFIDENCE, A LITTLE PROBLEM TO BE SOLUTIONED. HOWEVER, I STILL WANNA LEARN THINGS THAT IM AFRAID OF, LIKE COOKING, IM REALLY AFRAID TO COOK, I DON’T KNOW HOW TO COOK DISHES! SWEAR! AND I HATE MATH, ONE THING THAT I WISH IM A GENUIS! I WANT TO LEARN TO PLAY PIANO, I LOVE ITS MELODY.  I WANT TO LEARN A LOT!
